About Get In Line

Get In Line is first and foremost a Line Dance club, based mainly in the South West of the UK.

As we built in-house tools for our instructors to use, we realised that some of them could be of use to the wider Line Dance scene.

Our Journey

We started with Requestor when the tools out there didn’t really meet our needs, and we were soon getting requests from other instructors to use the system.

The Line Dance Dashboard is an ongoing work in progress. Initially built out of a need to track all our tools and systems, we again felt it might be of use to others. We continue to build on it and add functionality based on feedback.

The Find the Restart game began as a bit of fun with some of our students. It’s quite labour-intensive as all the tracks must be manually marked at the correct restart points, which is why we add more over time rather than all at once.

What’s Next

We’re working on a number of other tools, such as the Floor Split / Alternative Music Database which is coming on nicely and is currently being populated with data.

We also have attendance tools, class tracking tools, automated sign-in sheet generators, and a class CRM system that we’re preparing to release to the wider Line Dance community.
