Code of Conduct
Last updated: 26 July 2026
This Code of Conduct applies to customers, attendees, instructors, performers, volunteers, staff and guests at Get In Line events.
Expected behaviour
- Treat others with courtesy and respect.
- Respect personal boundaries and do not make unwanted physical contact.
- Follow reasonable instructions from organisers, venue staff and instructors.
- Act safely and avoid behaviour that risks harm or serious disruption.
- Respect the venue, equipment and other people's property.
Unacceptable behaviour
Harassment, discrimination, bullying, threats, violence, sexual misconduct, deliberate intimidation, dangerous behaviour, illegal activity and serious intoxication are not acceptable.
Reporting concerns
Concerns should be raised promptly with an organiser or event staff member. Reports will be considered sensitively, although information may need to be shared where necessary to protect people, investigate concerns or comply with the law.
Action we may take
Depending on the circumstances, we may give a warning, impose reasonable conditions, refuse admission, remove a person from the event, restrict future bookings or contact the venue, safeguarding authorities or police. A refund will not normally be provided where action results from the attendee's conduct.
